Our staff have been doing a super job of looking after the children during this heatwave and yesterday involved ice pops, colouring in the shade, water sprays and even feet in trays of cold water!Unfortunately our classrooms are not equipped for the current unprecedented temperatures and I am aware that the afternoons have felt challenging for some of our children. I want to ensure children and staff are both safe and comfortable therefore will be offering an early pick up today and tomorrow.If you want you to collect your children earlier then please come to their classroom door at 1.15pm. School gates will be opened for you and closed again at 1.30pm. Upon collection teachers will mark this off on our internal register system - no child will be able to leave until the teacher has marked this document.We will open the gates again later at 3pm for our usual pick up time of 3.15pm.Thank you
