Wrap Around at West End Primary School
What service do you provide?
We provide activities such as wake up shake up, messy play, Theraplay and multisport. These activities encourage children to learn through play and build up positive relationships with the staff and their peers. The children also have access to other areas such as the sand area, creative area, and our large outdoor area. We take regular trips to our trim trail which is on the school field near the night owl's class. Throughout the year we take opportunities to learn about cultural and religious events.
What are the opening times?
Morning wraparound session: from 8.00 am to 8.45 am
After School wraparound: from 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm (Monday to Thursday)
3:15 pm to 5:00 pm (Friday)
Do you provide food?
We do not provide breakfast in the morning sessions. However, we do provide a light snack for the children for the afternoon session.
Who will look after my children?
All staff who work at Cygnets, work within the school and are familiar with the children.

Nursery
Morning sessions: £4.05
Afternoon sessions: £12.13 (Monday - Thursday) £9.43 (Friday Only)
(This is in line with the FEEE hourly rate for EYFS providers of £5.39 per hour for 2025/26)
Reception
Morning sessions: £4.05
Afternoon sessions: £13.20 (Monday - Thursday) £10.50 (Friday Only)

This private provider is based within the school and is a well established provision, offering wrap around care for school aged children Years 1-6.
Before school: 'Early Birds' are open from 7.30 am to 8.45 am. The children are offered a healthy breakfast (available up until 8.15am) and can engage in a variety of activities before being taken to their classrooms or the playground for the start of the school day.
The cost of each morning session (7.30 am to 8.45am) is £7.00 per child.
After School: 'Night Owls' is open from 3.15 pm till 5.45 pm Monday - Thursday and until 5.00 pm on Fridays. There are a wide range of activities on offer to allow the children to make their own decisions about what they engage in, whether it be a quiet activity or a more energetic challenge. A snack is also provided at these sessions.
From Monday to Thursday, the cost of each session is £14.00 (3.15 pm - 5.45 pm), while on Fridays the cost of each session is £11.25 (3.15pm -5pm).
There is an annual registration fee of £10 per family.
Night Owls is located within the school building in a well-resourced room. The club also has direct access to the school hall, ICT Suite, and our extensive outside and sensory area.
