Volunteering at Horsforth Community Cafe

Our Year 5 children have been helping out at the Horsforth Community Cafe.  Over the past term, groups of Year 5 children have been volunteering in the Cafe each Monday.  They have thoroughly enjoyed preparing, cooking and serving food.  They have looked at food waste in our area, talked about food poverty in Horsforth and beyond and learned about some of the ways the community are support each other.

Horsforth Foodbank welcome donations at all times.
